WorkSource Center Resources

The Downtown Pico Union WorkSource Center and the Hollywood WorkSource Center, in partnership with Evans Community Adult School, can help YOU by:
  • Providing Current Local Job Listings
  • Providing Recruitment and Job Fair Information
  • Providing Career and Vocational Counseling
  • Helping You Practice Interview Skills
  • Assisting You In Developing Your Resumé
  • Assisting You with Completing EDD Paperwork (there are EDD Employment Program Representatives at the Hollywood WorkSource Center)

Sometimes the WorkSource Centers are able to assist you with paying for your job training!
(Please note: funding for training is NOT guaranteed.)
City of LA Employment

The WorkSource Centers can also help you apply for:
  • The Targeted Local Hire program: a program which provides a job pathway into City civil service through full-time, paid, on-the-job training for entry-level City positions

  • The Bridges to Jobs program: a program which provides a job pathway into City civil service through full-time, paid, on-the-job training for semi-skilled classifications, rather than entry-level positions.
